I write a weekly column for The National and my work has also been published in The Herald, Sunday Herald, Metro, The Big Issue and The Times.

My weekly columns usually take a satirical look at the latest developments in Scottish and UK politics, but sometimes stray into other areas of current affairs.

In recent years I have also sought to raise awareness of how discourse, policy-making and proposed legislation around gender identity have negative consequences for women’s rights and freedoms.

I am a regular commentator on Scottish politics and current affairs, including on the BBC’s Politics Scotland and Good Morning Scotland and STV’s Scotland Tonight.
